Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking a Golf Distribution Driver to deliver merchandise and equipment to its golf courses and designated outlets. The role supports retail operations, tags merchandise, maintains inventory, and assists with special projects while adhering to safety standards.

The position emphasizes independent work, safety, and accurate handling of confidential information, with responsibilities across multiple resort venues.

Qualifications

• Valid driver`s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise, supplies, and equipment to all five golf courses, The Sanctuary, Roy Barth Tennis Center, and other outlets
• Assist with tagging merchandise and organizing the warehouse
• Assist with retail projects and set up workstation with supplies
• Replenish supplies and equipment during shifts
• Work without direct supervision and comply with OSHA and hotel safety requirements
• Uphold resort values and policies and perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain readiness for daily job responsibilities across outlets

Job description

Position Summary:

The Golf Distribution Driver is responsible for delivering merchandise, supplies, and equipment to the resort's golf courses and other designated outlets. This role supports retail operations through warehouse organization, merchandise tagging, inventory replenishment, and special projects while maintaining safety standards, working independently, and upholding the resort's values and procedures.

Pay Rate:

The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required.
• Must be able to operate a large van or box truck
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Must possess the ability to remain calm in a stressful and / or hurried environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information required.
• Must work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good to Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Expectations & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivers to all Five Golf Courses, The Sanctuary, Roy Barth Tennis Center, and other requested outlets
• Assist with tagging merchandise, organizing the warehouse and assisting with any other retail projects that may be going on.
• Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment.
• Replenish supplies and equipment as needed during the shift.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.Ability to work with Cleaning Chemicals according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort.
• All other duties as assigned.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to liftand carry minimum weight of 50 lbs. across short-medium distances.
• Mustphysically be able to transport required equipment repetitively over the course of an eight (8) hour shift.
• Must be able to sit / stand for the majority of shiftwhile reaching, bending and stooping.
• Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
