Responsibilities

• Establishes and supervises the starting rotation at the first tee.
• Pairs off participants into groups of four whenever possible.
• Monitors and enforces pace of play policy in cooperation with the Cashier and Ranger on duty.
• Monitors golfers for adherence to course policy and local rules.
• Inspects facilities, equipment, and activity areas for safety; reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs Ranger duties when Ranger is not on duty.
• Assists the Cashier with clubhouse operations as necessary.
• Performs light custodial duties as necessary.
• Promotes and maintains exemplary customer service and public relations.
• Acts in accordance with all loss compliance and safety regulations posted in the employee safety manual.
• Follows park district safety rules, exercises safe work practices and follows all emergency procedures.

Essential Functions

• Establishes and supervises the starting rotation at the first tee.
• Pairs off participants into groups of four whenever possible.
• Monitors and enforces pace of play policy in cooperation with the Cashier and Ranger on duty.
• Monitors golfers for adherence to course policy and local rules.
• Inspects facilities, equipment, and activity areas for safety; corrects and reports unsafe conditions.
• Performs Ranger duties when Ranger is not on duty.
• Assists the Cashier with clubhouse operations as necessary.
• Performs light custodial duties as necessary.
• Promotes and maintains exemplary customer service and public relations.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of sixteen years of age with a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
• Must possess knowledge of golf.
• Must have liquor handling certification
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
