Job summary

Sudden Valley Community Association is seeking a dependable golf course maintenance team member in Bellingham, WA. The role supports turf care activities and assists with landscaping across the course, contributing to safe, well‑maintained facilities.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of golf, be able to work in all weather, lift 60+ lbs, and be available every other weekend. Golf privileges are included as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Golf course maintenance and landscaping experience preferred but not required.
• Must have some knowledge of the game of golf.
• Ability to perform physical labor using small hand tools and riding mowers.

Responsibilities

• Performs golf course maintenance tasks as directed by the Turfcare Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
• Works with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Maintains effective relationships with SVCA staff, board members and the public.
• Promotes and supports workplace safety.
• Undertakes other duties as assigned.
• Must be 16 years of age or older with reliable transportation; pre‑employment drug testing.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions and lift 60+ pounds.
• Golf privileges are included.
• Weekend work required; shifts every other weekend.

• Weekend work required. Work shifts every other weekend.
• Performs course maintenance assignments as directed by the Turfcare Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
