Job summary

County of San Luis Obispo is seeking friendly Golf Aides to join our Parks and Recreation team as Pro Shop Attendants and/or Groundskeepers. You will deliver excellent guest service, assist with course maintenance, and support a safe, enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Successful candidates will work at Morro Bay or Dairy Creek courses. Positions are temporary, with flexible hours and weekend work expected; a high school diploma and the ability to obtain CPR/First Aid within six months are

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in golf groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, construction, Parks and Recreation, equipment operation, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Mows greens, tees, fairways, and other turf areas; maintains turf and plants.
• Assists with course maintenance and setup, including irrigation and equipment operation.
• Interacts with the public and enforces rules to protect guests and environment.
• Maintains records and reports related to course activities.
