Gulf Winds Golf Course at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi is seeking an experienced golf operations manager to oversee budgeting, course maintenance, and retail operations. The role includes organizing tournaments, teaching lessons, and coordinating with golf professionals on a military installation.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventories and records, supervising staff, ensuring quality customer service at the Pro Shop and snack bar, and adhering to DoN/MWR guidelines.

Formación

• Knowledge of golf course management concepts, budgeting and scheduling.
• Understanding of USGA/PGA rules and coordination with golf associations.
• Ability to teach golf to various age groups and skill levels.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee budgeting, procurement requests for pro shop and course maintenance.
• Prepare reports on current and upcoming projects and events.
• Plan and run tournaments, leagues, and special events with coordination across facilities.
• Conduct individual and group golf lessons and clinics; instructor fees may apply.
• Maintain cash handling, inventories, and daily financial records for greens fees and services.
• Oversee operation of the Pro Shop and supervise resale and snack bar activities.
• Schedule and supervise staff; ensure safety, service quality, and compliance with DoD/MWR policies.
