Job summary

Desert Mountain Club is seeking a Golf Course Mechanic I to keep our golf fleet in peak condition. You will service mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and related equipment, working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Mechanic team to schedule repairs and maintenance for daily play.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on golf course mechanical experience, uses a wide range of repair tools, and demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude in a team setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a golf course mechanic or related mechanical experience.
• Skilled in using a wide variety of repair tools and performing mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the mechanical condition of mowers, utility vehicles, tractors and other equipment.
• Plan and coordinate repairs, adjustments, and regular maintenance with the Superintendant and senior mechanics.
• Ensure equipment is available for daily use on the golf course.

Join the Agronomy team at Desert Mountain Club, one of the largest and most beautiful private country clubs in North America, as a Golf Course Mechanic I!
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the correct mechanical condition of all mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and mechanical equipment. Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Mechanic II and III to plan and coordinate repairs, adjustments, and maintenance of all equipment to ensure it’s available for daily use on the golf course.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who strives for excellence with a great attitude and strong work ethic. At least 1 year of well-rounded experience as golf course mechanic, and/or related mechanical experience and skilled in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools, and the making of various types of mechanical repairs is required.
