Job summary

City of Ann Arbor is seeking personnel for golf course maintenance. The role involves semi-skilled manual labor and operation of golf maintenance equipment, including watering greens and tees, maintaining sand traps, changing cups on greens and tee markers, and mowing turf while collecting debris.

You will report to the permanent Golf Course Green Keepers and perform related duties as required. Applicants should be capable of heavy manual labor and possess skills with hand and mechanical tools.

Qualifications

• Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment; certification from approved organizations required

Job Details

Starting Hourly Rate $16.93

Required Qualifications

• Must obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment. The City offers CPR/AED and First Aid classes, which are free to Parks employees. Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the proper use and operation of equipment used in golf course maintenance
• High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalent and some experience in grounds keeping; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
