Cape Fear Country Club Inc is seeking a golf course maintenance worker in Wilmington, NC. You will mow, trim, and maintain greens, fairways, roughs and surrounding property using mowers, trimmers, and various hand tools.

Qualifications include landscaping experience, knowledge of lawn equipment, and strong customer service with attention to detail. The role requires working in extreme weather, holidays and weekends, with possible overtime during golf season.

Responsabilités

• Mow grass and trim weeds and hedges using mowers, weed trimmers, and other tools.
• Maintain greens, fairways, cart paths, and all adjacent Golf Course property with various equipment (backpack blowers, trimmers, edgers, push mowers, riding mowers, greens roller, sod-cutting machine).
• Operate golf utility vehicles and other common hand tools.
• Assist with sodding and general maintenance as needed.

Summary (Essential Functions):

The golf course maintenance worker is responsible for mowing grass on the tee boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes and greens; sodding; trimming. He/She will use equipment such as mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, carts, and a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools.

Details: Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Mow grass and trim weeds and hedges using mowers, weed trimmers, and other tools
• Maintain greens, fairways, cart paths, and all adjacent Golf Course property, utilizing the following equipment
  • Backpack blowers, string trimmers, edgers, and push mowers
  • Small- to mid-size riding mowing equipment
  • Greens roller
  • Sod-cutting machine
  • Golf utility vehicles
  • Commonly used hand tools

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will possess landscaping experience, working knowledge of various lawn/ground equipment, a strong customer service orientation, and attention to detail and some knowledge of the game of golf. Candidate must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, holidays, and weekends, with occasional overtime during golf season.
