Job summary

American Golf Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Irrigator to support golf course irrigation operation and turf health at our Rosemead, California facilities. The role focuses on managing schedules, troubleshooting systems, and maintaining pumps, valves, and related infrastructure, under limited supervision.

You will work with the Superintendent and maintenance team, perform preventive maintenance, uphold safety and environmental guidelines, and contribute to consistent course conditions for

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in irrigation systems, turf management, landscaping, or related field
• Experience operating irrigation systems, preferably on golf courses or landscape environments
• Ability to read irrigation plans, manuals, and technical specifications
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust irrigation systems to maintain optimal turf and landscape conditions
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation components including pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, and pumps
• Program and manage irrigation schedules based on weather conditions, soil moisture, and course needs
• Perform preventive maintenance on irrigation systems and related equipment
• Maintain records of repairs, water usage, and system performance
