Job summary

Recreation Centers Of Sun City West Inc. is seeking a part-time course usher/starter for the seasonal period from September 2026 through April 2027. You will greet golfers, review daily play sheets, and help maintain course flow.

Responsibilities include assisting injured players, keeping the course safe, and reporting incidents to the Pro Shop Manager. Outdoor duties and weather exposure are expected. Applicants should have golf experience and a basic understanding of golf rules and tee times;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Golf experience preferred and basic understanding of golf rules and tee times.

Responsibilities

• Greet and inform all golfers of upcoming and special events.
• Review starter sheet to familiarize with the day's play sheet.
• Make initial course run at start of play to clear non-golfers and check facilities.
• Monitor golf play continuously and maintain course rules.
• Assist injured or ill players and transport equipment to clubhouse.
• Report serious incidents to the Golf Course Supervisor / Starter immediately.
