Job summary

Glendale Golf Course is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper to maintain the golf course grounds, gardens, and facilities. The role involves mowing, aerating, weeding, cleaning restrooms, trash pickup, and operating light maintenance equipment in all weather conditions.

The position is seasonal, approximately six months, with a 20-hour workweek and a pay range of $15–$18 per hour. This is an unskilled maintenance role in Public Lands.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience in gardening or general maintenance work.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
• May require pesticide license (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course grounds, gardens, equipment and buildings.
• Mowing, aerating, and weeding turf.
• Clean restrooms, pick up trash, rake leaves, and remove debris.
• Clear sidewalks and operate handheld and light maintenance equipment.
