Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and availability for long hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate all powered golf course maintenance equipment safely and proficiently with awareness of golfer safety.
• Perform daily start-up checks: oil, fuel, and inspect for leaks or defects.
• Report any problems to Mechanic I or Mechanic Supervisor.
• End-of-day duties: wash, fuel, lubricate, and inspect equipment for damage or wear.
• Maintain turf, landscape, and equipment; observe and report issues.
• Dig trenches as directed and assist with maintenance tasks as needed.
• Wear issued uniforms and safety gear at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.
