Job summary

Falcon Lakes Golf Club in Basehor, KS is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain our 18-hole course and support daily play, tournaments, and events. You’ll work with the Agronomy team to mow greens, tees, and fairways, rake bunkers, trim landscaping, and help with drainage and irrigation tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining golf course grounds preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Willingness to work early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, edging, pruning, and landscaping.
• Course setup: tee markers, cups, signs, debris removal.

Full-Time • $17–$21/hr • Basehor, KS

Falcon Lakes Golf Club is growing, and we’re looking for motivated team members to join ourAgronomy & Grounds Crew. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a winning team, and taking pride in how a golf course looks and plays, this is the perfect opportunity.

Position Overview

As a Groundskeeper, you’ll help maintain one of the top golf course properties in the Kansas City area. You’ll work directly with our Director of Agronomy and experienced maintenance team to keep the course in top condition for daily play, tournaments, and special events.

What You’ll Do

• Daily mowing of greens, tees, fairways, and rough
• Bunker raking and detailing
• Trimming, edging, pruning, and landscaping
• Course setup: tee markers, cups, signs, debris removal
• Basic irrigation checks and hand-watering
• Assist with projects: drainage, sod work, native areas, tree work, etc.
• Operate and care for a variety of golf course equipment
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work outdoors in all conditions
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work early mornings (typical start 6–7 AM)
• Weekend and holiday availability on a rotating schedule
• Prior golf course or landscaping experience is a plus but not required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
