Job summary

Greenhorn Creek Resort is seeking a Golf Course Mechanic to maintain and repair course equipment under general supervision. You will perform inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance to support the course operations and ensure safety standards.

Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with golf course or auto equipment, a valid driver's license, and a proactive approach to equipment care. This is a full-time hourly role based in Angels Camp, CA.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in golf course equipment repair or auto repair.
• High school diploma or college degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to repair golf course equipment.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with capacity to handle multiple duties.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and repair/adjust as needed.
• Lubricate and service course maintenance equipment.
• Maintain service, repair, and usage records on all equipment.
• Establish safety procedures and maintain safety records for equipment operation.
• Demonstrate and train staff in safe operation and proper care of equipment.
• Plan and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Advise Superintendent regarding major equipment failures and/or replacement needs.
• Perform general overhauls of equipment as needed.
