Job summary

The City of Mishawaka is seeking a Seasonal Golf Course Crew Member to assist with daily course maintenance at Eberhart-Petro Golf Course. You will perform mowing, hole setting, watering, raking bunkers, and related tasks to support course operations.

Expect early mornings, varied hours (25–37.5 per week) and outdoor work in all weather, reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant. Must be at least 18 with a valid Indiana driver's license.

JOB TITLE – GOLF COURSE CREW MEMBER 2

DEPARTMENT: Parks Department
SALARY: $7.25 – $15.00 per hour
HOURS: Various

DEFINITION

Seasonal golf course maintenance worker. Receives direction from and reports to Golf Course Superintendent & Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Employees will carry out the daily mowing and setup tasks which are vital to course operations.

• Flexible schedule required, will work early mornings on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Work week will be 25-37.5 hours.

EQUIPMENT USED

All equipment used to perform golf course maintenance. Examples of equipment used:

• 1. Golf Carts
• 2. Hand Tools
• 3. Push Mowers
• 4. Power Trap Rake
• 5. Tri-Plex Mowers
• 6. Limited Specialty Equipment

JOB LOCATION

95% of the duties will be performed at Eberhart-Petro Golf Course.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS

95% of the work will be performed outside in all types of weather conditions
