Job summary

Belterra Casino Resort is seeking a friendly Golf Course Attendant to assist guests with golf clubs and equipment and ensure the golf operations are prepared each day to meet guest needs.

You will greet guests, transport their bags, direct them to the golf shop, practice facilities and first tee, and handle pre-opening cart readiness. Responsibilities include cart cleanliness, stocking supplies, and assisting with cleaning clubs and loading bags for transport.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and able to pass background checks.
• Must be able to operate golf carts and light motorized equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions and ensure guest safety.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Golf Course Attendant is responsible for assisting golf guests with their golf clubs and equipment and ensures golf operations is prepared each day to assist the guest with their golf needs. The Attendant is also responsible for providing extraordinary service to both the internal and external guests.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all guests, collecting their golf bags and any other items to be put in their golf cars.
• Providing guest service, directing them to the golf shop, practice facility and first tee.
• Pre‑opening duties include ensuring there are enough golf carts for the day’s activities based on a daily copy of the tee sheet.
• Ensuring all golf carts are clean and stocked with clean towels, scorecards, tees and pencils.
• Setting up the practice facility, maintaining the range tee and ensuring there is an adequate supply of range balls available each day.
• Maintaining the pool area including stocking towels, cleaning pool & cabanas, picking up all trash around the pool & golf shop.
• Assisting guests with cleaning golf clubs and loading golf bags in guest’s vehicles or in the Belterra bag storage area.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate golf carts and light motorized equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Ability to work in a drug‑free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school education and working knowledge of the game of golf and its regulations.
