Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Golf Cart Attendant | Part Time for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club!

Responsibilities

1. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as scheduled according to the resort's needs.
2. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper attire/uniform and name tag.
3. Greet every guest and member enthusiastically.
4. Remember and use member names consistently.
5. Explain golf cart GPS functionality, course conditions, cart path rules, and other relevant information to guests and members.
6. Care for guest and member golf clubs, including cleaning, storing, and transporting.
7. Provide timely service for golf bag movement from valet to golf carts and staging areas.
8. Perform maintenance and detailing of golf carts, including cleaning, stocking, and driving.
9. Move golf carts to the cart barn at the end of the day.
10. Keep storage areas neat, clean, and free of debris.
11. Assist in coordinating outside services for golf tournaments.
12. Ensure presentation standards according to Omni Hotel standards.
13. Demonstrate exceptional customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Education in golf or related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to withstand an 8-10 hour workday and exposure to weather conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a golf cart safely and properly.
