Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang.
• Experience developing and supporting applications in Linux/macOS environments.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles: data structures, algorithms, system design, and OOP.
• Experience designing and supporting distributed systems with focus on scalability, performance, availability, observability.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized development.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
• Experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines, platform engineering, and developer productivity tooling.
• Understanding of infrastructure and platform concepts including networking, compute, storage, security, containers, and platform operations.
• Familiarity with IaC, GitOps, and Kubernetes ecosystem tools.
• Experience building or integrating GraphQL APIs in backend services.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, operate, and continuously improve platform engineering solutions.
• Own technical problems end-to-end with stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Contribute to product and platform roadmaps focusing on performance, reliability, observability, operability, and testability.
• Participate in root cause analysis, incident investigation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across internal systems and downstream dependencies.
• Follow established engineering standards and provide constructive feedback to improve tooling.
• Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a growth mindset through collaboration.
