Job summary

Technologent is seeking an experienced Golang Engineer to join our software engineering team in Phoenix, AZ. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go, while leveraging Cassandra for distributed data management and building reliable RESTful APIs.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of professional software development experience with Go, practical Java integration experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience with Go.
• Strong knowledge of Go, libraries, and framework patterns.
• Experience with production-grade backend services and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Java and integrating with existing Java applications.
• Hands-on Cassandra data modeling and query development.
• Experience building distributed backend services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Go.
• Build scalable and maintainable Go-based solutions and RESTful APIs.
• Analyze and contribute to Java applications when required.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and stakeholders across the lifecycle.
• Work with Cassandra for distributed data storage and retrieval.
• Implement unit and integration tests to improve quality.
• Participate in code reviews and follow engineering standards.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding and debugging.
