About the Role

We are looking for a talented Golang Engineer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing high-performance, scalable backend systems using Go (Golang). You will work on building robust microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Golang.
• Build RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and backend components that are robust and efficient.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in architectural design discussions and propose best practices for software development.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and design patterns.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure software quality.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work in an Agile development environment, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Go (Golang) and familiarity with its ecosystem.
• Experience with backend development, including RESTful APIs, gRPC, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
