Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking a Golang Architect/Lead to drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable Go-based applications. You will lead high-performance microservices, REST APIs, and gRPC services in a remote, long-term contract environment.

You will mentor engineers, define patterns and best practices, collaborate with product managers, DevOps, QA, and other teams, and ensure secure, reliable, and maintainable cloud-native solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with Go.
• Strong knowledge of Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Extensive experience with microservices and distributed systems architecture.
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud technologies.
• Experience with messaging/event-streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Git, Agile methodologies, and modern software development practices.
• Excellent technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
