About Us

Rho is the all-in-one banking platform for startups and the accountants who support them. With banking set up in minutes, corporate cards, and powerful tools for managing spend, paying bills, and closing the books, Rho helps high-growth startups move fast and stay focused—with support that goes to the ends of the earth to help you win.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Go-To-Market Leader to own the growth of our San Francisco office. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of revenue, relationships, and rigor. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives, driving revenue growth across the region, and rolling up your sleeves to win strategic deals, build partnerships, and represent us in the market.

The ideal candidate is equal parts dealmaker, motivator, and operator. You can lead a high‑performing team while also showing up in the field—whether at a founder event, on a customer call, or alongside a partner. You’re energized by owning a number, building a book of business, and being the person who makes things happen. This is a unique opportunity to lead from the front and be our GTM anchor in one of the most important startup ecosystems in the world.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Account Executives based in San Francisco.

  • Own revenue outcomes and customer growth across the West Coast region.

  • Drive key business development activities—closing deals, securing partnerships, and representing the brand at events.

  • Build and execute territory plans that balance strategic accounts, pipeline development, and local market presence.

  • Be the go‑to operator on the ground: surfacing insights, building process, and keeping the local GTM engine running smoothly.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and revenue operations to inform campaigns and improve funnel performance.

  • Create a high‑performance culture rooted in accountability, excellence, and motivation.

  • Regularly report on performance metrics and forecast outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of experience in go‑to‑market roles, ideally in high‑growth B2B or fintech companies, OR 2-5 years of founding team experience in tech or related sectors.

  • Proven ability to lead and grow high‑performing revenue teams.

  • Strong commercial instincts: confident closing deals, building relationships, and negotiating terms.

  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with experience representing a company externally.

  • Operational rigor—comfortable managing CRM hygiene, forecasting, and process improvements.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in a startup or founder/operator role

  • Strong network in the San Francisco and West Coast founder/VC ecosystem

  • Familiarity with modern sales and GTM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, etc.)

  • Exposure to business banking or financial services is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Our people are our most valuable asset. The budgeted base salary for this role is $150,000 with an OTE of $225,000-$250,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
