Job summary

Todyl is seeking a talented, self-directed engineer to own the desktop agent across Windows, macOS and Linux. You will develop and maintain a Go-based agent with cgo integrations, building security-focused features and platform APIs integration.

This role collaborates with multiple stack teams in a fast-paced startup, troubleshooting escalated issues with customer-facing teams and delivering robust, cross-platform security capabilities such as SASE and EDR.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Go or similar systems language (C, C++, Rust).
• Strong understanding of systems programming on Windows/macOS/Linux.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Experience with concurrent programming (goroutines, threads).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Go-based desktop agent with cgo integrations across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Implement and enhance agent features including SASE, EDR, and endpoint security capabilities.
• Design and implement system-level security features across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Create robust platform-specific integrations using OS APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, escalated platform-specific issues with customer-facing teams.
