Job summary

AssistRx is seeking a Release Coordinator to join its Release Management team in New York. The role focuses on CAB facilitation, release planning, and ensuring deployment readiness against schedules and approvals.

You will define release scope and rollback plans, maintain release notes, coordinate Go-Live activities, and communicate changes across engineering and project teams. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of change release management best practices and risk management
• Proven experience in release management, project coordination, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of software development and release processes
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Facilitates release planning meetings with stakeholders to identify proper sequencing of release packages.
• Participates in the Change Advisory Board meetings and process.
• Defines and documents the release recommendation for each release, including scope, schedule, deliverables, and rollback plan.
• Oversees release decisions and cross-departmental impacts.
• Maintains release management schedule for assigned systems.
• Documents and communicates changes in release notes to the internal team.
• Identifies opportunities to improve the release management process.
• Creates and maintains release management standards and educates teams.
• Coordinates Go-Live activities and deployment plans.
