Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing backend applications, services, or distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Go (Golang) with production-quality services.
• Experience developing and operating cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts including asynchronous processing, fault tolerance, scalability, and resiliency.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, or similar cloud technologies.
• Experience with NoSQL and/or relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native backend services, APIs, and microservices using Go and AWS technologies.
• Build and maintain integrations between internal services, external APIs, and third-party cloud platforms.
• Develop scalable, event-driven applications using asynchronous messaging, queues, and distributed processing patterns.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define technical requirements, API contracts, data models, and service integration points.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable, well-tested software solutions.
