About The Job You’re Considering

Solve challenging controls and localization problems using state-of-the-art techniques. Develop simulations to prove controls designs. Work with a team of engineers to implement and validate controls solutions on unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). Designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. May be responsible for the installation and technical support of controls products. Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within the GNC realm. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May report to an executive or a manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Your Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, C#, Python, Visual Basic, and Microsoft embedded Visual C++.
• Experience with software development, object-oriented programming, and embedded systems development.
• Hands-on experience with robotics systems, robotics software, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, mechatronics, and industrial control systems.
• Experience working in engineering design, system integration, testing, and technical problem solving.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the design, development, and implementation lifecycle.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082- $193,440

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
