Job summary

GuideTech, a leader in aerospace and autonomous systems, is seeking a Modeling, Simulation, and GNC Engineer in Lenexa, KS. You will develop high-fidelity models and simulations of vehicle dynamics and flight control, design GNC algorithms, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the product lifecycle from concept to flight testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with C++ and modeling of aerospace vehicle dynamics.
• Experience implementing GNC algorithms in simulations and flight software.
• Ability to perform trade studies and V&V testing of simulations.
• Document modeling, analysis, and test results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flight-test activities from planning through execution.
• Develop high-fidelity models and simulations for vehicle dynamics and flight control.
• Design and evaluate GNC algorithms for simulation and flight software.
• Perform trade studies and analyze vehicle performance using simulation tools.
• Support verification and validation of simulation models and GNC software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across aerodynamics, propulsion, software, and systems engineering.
• Analyze simulation and test results to improve vehicle performance and stability.
• Document modeling approaches, analysis, and test results clearly.
