Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in robotics, mechanical, electrical, or aerospace with focus on dynamic systems and control.
• 4 years professional GNC experience, preferably on airborne platforms.
• Experience with Matlab and Simulink.
• Modeling and simulation of linear and nonlinear dynamic systems; able to linearize models.
• Interest in defending the United States and its allies.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and test flight controllers and guidance algorithms.
• Develop and test Software-In-The-Loop and Hardware-In-The-Loop tests for flight testing.
• Collaborate with the flight software team to define requirements and test GNC in simulation.
• Review test data to verify vehicle performance and debug incidents during testing or from fielded assets.
• Create models to support functional evaluation of GNC software.
