Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ is seeking a SAP Manufacturing Systems Specialist to ensure accurate configuration of material masters, BOMs, recipes, and production orders supporting GMP manufacturing operations.

Role emphasizes collaboration across Operations, Quality, Master Data Management and Digital Technology to enable compliant, efficient production readiness on the FLEx Center. Onsite, second shift in Rahway, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of GMP manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Material Masters, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions, and Process Orders.
• Strong documentation and GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAP master data for Material Masters, BOMs, Recipes, Production Versions, and Process Orders.
• Support material staging, inventory transactions, and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Master Data Management and Digital Technology teams.
• Participate in change controls, deviations, audits and validations.
• Provide MES and SAP integration support with manufacturing execution.
