Job summary

Moderna seeks a Quality Control Raw Materials Associate I at the Norwood, MA site. You will perform QC Raw Material activities in support of GMP Manufacturing and contribute to special projects as needed. First shift, Monday–Friday, on-site.

You will handle sampling, shipping, and testing using methods like pH, conductivity, TruScan RM spectroscopy, appearance, and dimensional verification, while maintaining GMP documentation and a safe lab environment.

Qualifications

• BS in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 0–2 years with BS or 3+ years in GMP QC laboratory setting.
• Strong understanding of GxP regulations and proactive team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Requesting, sampling, and shipping of raw materials.
• Sample coordination including cross functional collaboration with internal and external labs.
• Supporting domestic and international sample shipments.
• Supporting testing for methods including pH, conductivity, TruScan RM spectroscopy, appearance, and dimensional verification.
• Inspect product and raw material retain samples.
• LIMS (LabVantage) sample logging and result entry.
• Raw material and consumable component inspection and release.
• Complete and maintain cGMP documentation for work performed.
• Maintain a safe laboratory working environment.
