Responsibilities

• Validate methods and equipment for sterility, bioburden, endotoxin testing, and microbial identifications.
• Write technical documentation including position papers, validation reports and investigations.
• Culture organisms, conduct research, and characterize them for investigations and development.
• Review new test procedures and assays for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate new methodologies, techniques, and equipment as needed.
• Oversee contract laboratory testing to ensure quality and compliance.
