Job summary

Actalent is seeking a MCS Associate Quality for an onsite role in Thousand Oaks, CA. The position supports a GMP-regulated laboratory performing routine analytical testing, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper documentation.

A bachelor's in a scientific discipline and prior lab experience are preferred. The role runs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with a focus on accurate documentation, cGMP compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Prior academic or industry laboratory experience.
• Comfort working in a GMP-regulated environment and performing routine GMP testing across multiple methods.
• Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements, written procedures, and safety guidelines (cGMPs/CFRs).
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices for both paper and electronic records.
• Experience using lab notebooks and electronic systems for data entry and documentation.
• Ability to evaluate documentation and data per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory procedures and analytical testing in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Execute basic laboratory techniques such as pipetting and dilutions.
• Document and enter data into lab notebooks and electronic systems with good documentation practices.
• Maintain and operate specialized laboratory equipment.
• Support inventory management and ensure supplies are available for daily testing.
• Maintain controlled records and participate in change control processes.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain training records.
