Job summary

Eurofins PSS is seeking a QC Analytical Chemist in Albany, NY to support GMP testing of in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. The successful candidate will perform method transfer and verification, investigate OOS/OOT cases, and apply techniques such as NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, and TGA with strong attention to detail and organization.

Candidates should have a BS or MS in chemistry or related field with GMP/GLP experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field with 1+ year GMP/GLP testing.
• 1+ year experience with LC, Conductivity, and Titration.
• Experience with at least two of NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA.
• Knowledge of GMP, ICH and 21 CFR guidelines.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Test and review samples per approved methods and specifications.
• Follow GMP and 21 CFR/ICh guidelines in testing.
• Test in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples.
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies.
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results.
• Utilize analytical techniques including NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, TGA.
• Reference standard qualification and management.
• Test elemental impurities and residual solvents.
