Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline in Zebulon, NC is seeking a Process Operator to operate, challenge and clean manufacturing equipment in a GMP environment. You will follow SOPs, batch documents and JSAs, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires basic math and data analysis skills, familiarity with production systems, and the ability to work extended shifts in a fast-paced pharmaceutical setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years Pharma/Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to handle up to 40 lbs and work 12.5 hour shifts if required.
• Familiarity with GMP/Regulatory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates, challenges, replenishes supplies, cleans equipment per SOPs and batch docs.
• Monitors equipment for rejects and downtime; uses data to identify improvements.
• Performs changeovers and setups to design specs.
• Maintains area inspection readiness with minimal supervision.
• Supports safety, quality, waste, and performance objectives.
