Job summary

Civica Petersburg, VA site is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing Support for Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) to lead daily manufacturing operations and support startup and commercialization of injectable products.

Responsibilities include qualifying new equipment and processes, serving as SME for manufacturing operations, ensuring GMP/ISO/OSHA compliance, maintaining inspection readiness, training staff, and developing SOPs to drive quality, safety, and cost-efficient production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a regulated production environment with 4+ years in cGMP/FDA/ISO settings.
Supervisory experience in GMP manufacturing.
Experience with autoclaves and parts washers.
Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate in new equipment and process qualifications under supervision.
Act as SME for manufacturing processes and compliance decisions.
Maintain inspection readiness and support regulatory tours.
Train and qualify staff for activities prior to execution.
Develop SOPs and process documents to meet qualifications and business requirements.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality and safety.
Mentor and coach associates in change management and project delivery.
Lead CAPA investigations and verify effectiveness post-implementation.
Ensure production plans are met with minimum cost and compliant processes.
Maintain on-site operations and approve staff timecards.
