Job summary

Otsuka ICU Medical is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Supervisor for the Austin facility. You will supervise MQ staff, ensure GMP compliance, and lead investigations and corrective actions for in-process monitoring and product release.

The role requires coordinating quality programs, developing procedures, and communicating across departments. Third shift runs Wednesday–Friday and every other Saturday, 6:00pm–6:00am, with travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or Microbiology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or R&D functions (or combination) in pharma, food, or cosmetics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise quality engineers and inspectors in a manufacturing environment.
• Provide supervision during the absence of the MQ Section Manager and off shifts.
• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop MQ employees for in-process monitoring of IV solution production.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and SOPs to ensure GMP compliance.
• Investigate issues, lead corrective actions, and prepare investigation reports.
