Job summary

Pace Life Sciences is seeking a Lab Technician II for an on-site role in Morrisville, NC. The incumbent will support Scientists in maintaining all lab activities, handling environmental, biological, and chemical samples, and completing required forms, documents, and databases.

The role requires a scientific bachelor’s degree and preferably two years in a regulated lab. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with competitive hourly compensation of $22.00–$26.00.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process items in the shipping and receiving area per procedures.
• Assist in the cleaning of laboratory glassware as needed.
• Maintain the general laboratory and facility supplies inventory.
• Picks up, transports, and maintains samples, documents, materials, and other items as needed.
• Completes and processes documents, databases, and related materials and information according to established procedures.
• Provides fundamental support in the application and assistance to staff and management regarding lab policies and practices.
• Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; escalates when required.
• Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by participating as an active team member.
