Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services seeks a lab support professional to uphold GMP/GLP standards and assist in daily laboratory operations in Portage, MI. The role requires meticulous attention to glassware handling, solution preparation, and safe waste disposal.

You will contribute to a compliant CLIA-like environment, support technical staff, and maintain organized records. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and consistent evening hours, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience following GMP/GLP guidelines.
• Ability to interpret instructions and work safely.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently after training.

Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Pick up glassware from lab areas; clean, dry, and store glassware
• Prepare solutions
• Retrieve acids and wash solvents from storage; check to ensure adequate supplies maintained; dispose waste solutions
• Maintain properly dried desiccant in desiccators and change pipette bath solutions as needed
• Glassware area and washer and dryer cleaning and maintenance
• Help technical staff as needed with miscellaneous support
• Scanning and filing documents
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned
