Job summary

Pioneer GMP Consulting is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support clients in the Cambridge/Boston area, embedded within client operations and connected to Pioneer’s expert network.

You will help bring critical facilities online safely, compliantly, and efficiently, contributing to commissioning, validation, and ongoing support across GMP systems, utilities, and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Facilities Engineering or related GMP-maintained environments.
• Hands-on calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance, and equipment support.
• Experience supervising maintenance contractors and coordinating third-party services.
• GMP documentation practices and CMMS familiarity (SAP PM).
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and regulated facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day facilities engineering activities in GMP manufacturing settings.
• Oversee calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate third-party vendors for maintenance and services.
• Assist maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for reliability and compliance.
• Create and manage GMP maintenance documentation and equipment history.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, and Quality teams.
