Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Apex, NC is seeking a GMP Coordinator to coordinate and manage project tasks in the GMP Program, ensuring delivery within budget and timelines. You will support GMP managers, maintain GMP documents, and monitor training, safety, and compliance across the team.

Typical duties include reviewing logs, coordinating shutdowns or commissioning activities, conducting on-the-job trainings, and ensuring personnel are certified in required procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus; may require forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, coworkers and customers.
  • Support GMP managers in day-to-day coordination and scheduling.
  • Maintain clear GMP documents and procedures.
  • Verify cleaning and GDP-related records.

Job Description:
Job Overview

The GMP Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing project tasks in the GMP Program to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Stop at risk behavior of others and self
  • Communicate with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
  • Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand reporting systems and the environment
  • Consistently follow all customer and SBM SOP's and procedures
  • Respond to customer requests in a professional manner
  • Must be trained and be certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned area
  • Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating Procedures
  • Complete all safety certifications including chemical safety
  • Assist GMP managers and supervisors in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities
  • Maintain clear and accurate GMP documents/procedures for reference purposes
  • Verify cleaning execution/activities by reviewing logbooks, log sheets, and related GDP documents
  • Assist management/supervision on the planning and scheduling of shutdowns, commissioning, and/or de-commissioning states of controlled environments
  • Conduct on-the-job trainings (OJT) and assist management/supervision in the qualifying process of new-hired employees.
  • Monitor GMP technicians training curriculum utilizing clients' systems and develop training paths to mitigate/prevent compliance disputes
  • Oversee GMP compliance within cleaning, disinfectant, safety equipment inspections, and pertinent tasks utilizing the client's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Assist with investigations of RCA/CAPA events
Qualification

Education and/ or Experience
  • High school diploma / GED – preferred
  • 6mo to 1 year of experience – preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Completed all safety and task training certification.
  • May be required to be forklift certified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
  • Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
  • Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Shifts and Compensation

Monday - Friday: 10:00am-7:00pm

$26 - $29 per hour (depending on experience)
