Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Manager in Middleton, WI for the Cell and Gene Therapy department. This onsite role leads staff, manages projects and resources, and ensures quality and client satisfaction within GMP/GLP frameworks.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 5–8 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years in a management role, plus strong communication and leadership abilities. Relocation support is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily staff activities, including interviewing, selection, and development.
• Allocate, schedule and manage laboratory resources to support project activities.
• Ensure quality, timelines and customer satisfaction through metrics and reviews.
• Draft, implement and improve SOPs and quality systems in GMP/GLP contexts.
• Coordinate with internal groups and client-facing functions to meet program needs.
• Mentor junior staff and drive cross-functional collaboration across departments.
