Job summary

Great Lakes Cheese is seeking a Case Packer to operate finished product packaging equipment and prepare products to meet customer specifications while adhering to GMP and Safety policies.

Responsibilities include packaging, quality checks, sanitation, and data entry in a fast-paced dairy environment in Manchester, TN. Experience in manufacturing and basic computer skills preferred; SAP/MES familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to read and prepare production reports and comprehend production worksheets.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation.
• Operate case packer and case erector.
• Troubleshoot, clean, and maintain case packer.
• Review order specs and pack boxes.
• Quality checks to assure product is packaged to specs.
• Enter data on production reports.
