Job summary

Bionova Scientific in Fremont, CA is seeking a Maintenance and Calibration Technician to join the Facilities and Engineering team. You will support operation, calibration, and compliance of manufacturing, laboratory, and facilities systems in a GMP environment.

This role requires experience with CMMS, equipment maintenance, and quality documentation; you will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure equipment readiness and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience supporting facility operations, maintenance, calibration, or technical systems.
• Experience with CMMS and SOPs; able to read P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Detail-oriented with GMP documentation and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support basic repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspection of equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors for calibration and service; review GMP documents.
• Document tasks in CMMS; ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, Lab Ops and Engineering to meet readiness timelines.
• Support work order triage and creation of maintenance activities.
• Interpret P&IDs and wiring diagrams; participate in CAPAs and change controls.
