Job summary

Algoworks in Seattle, WA is seeking an Automation CSV Engineer to validate and document GMP-compliant automation systems in a regulated manufacturing setting. You will collaborate across Automation, QA, IT, Engineering, and Operations to apply risk-based validation practices that keep control systems fit for purpose and compliant.

This contract-to-hire, full-time hybrid role requires 5+ years in automation validation (CSV) within GMP environments, with hands-on experience in Emerson DeltaV,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years in automation system validation (CSV) within GMP.
• Hands-on with Emerson DeltaV, AVEVA/OSIsoft PI, SCADA, PLCs, or batch systems.
• Knowledge of GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and data integrity principles.
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk-based lifecycle validation strategies for automation platforms.
• Author, review, and execute validation deliverables (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ, SOPs).
• Coordinate functional, regression, and qualification testing; verify control logic and document discrepancies.
