Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited university.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of related experience, or 2 years with a Master's, or 1 year with a PhD; no more than 12 years total.
• Strong background in math and physics is recommended.
• Experience with Ada, C++, or Java; willingness to become proficient with Ada.
• MATLAB and Python experience; Linux, scripting, and operations expertise.
• Ability to work in an in-person / closed-area environment; U.S. Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance.
• Travel up to 10% to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GMD Ground-based Midcourse Defense software for the GFC Battle Manager.
• Review requirements and test cases; participate in tests for the GFC software team.
• Work collaboratively to implement existing and new capabilities and algorithms.
• Support Ada development and CI/CD automation using Jira/Confluence and DevSecOps tools.
