Job summary

Diehl Chevrolet in Hermitage, PA, part of Diehl Automotive Group, seeks an Experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our high-volume service team. This role offers $100,000+ earning potential and opportunities for additional earnings based on experience, certifications, and productivity.

We provide tool-moving assistance for qualifying technicians, modern equipment, training opportunities, and a supportive management team to help you maximize your income while maintaining Chevrolet/GM

Qualifications

• Proven automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities.
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs.
• ASE and/or GM manufacturer certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and drivetrain repairs.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services.
• Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and GM manufacturer resources.
• Maintain Chevrolet/GM and dealership quality standards.
• Complete repairs correctly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
• Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and drivetrain repairs
• Complete scheduled maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services
• Utilize modern diagnostic equipment and GM manufacturer resources
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections
• Accurately document diagnoses and repairs
• Work closely with service advisors to identify and communicate vehicle repair needs
• Maintain Chevrolet/GM and dealership quality standards
• Complete repairs correctly and efficiently

We're Looking For

• Previous professional automotive technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs
• ASE and/or GM manufacturer certifications preferred
• Strong productivity and time-management skills
• Commitment to fixing vehicles correctly the first time
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
