Job summary

Clay Cooley Cadillac Mesquite is hiring skilled Automotive Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a brand-new, climate-controlled facility in Mesquite, TX. You will work with a professional service team and participate in ongoing factory and in-house training to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Personal tools required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license and 18+ years old; U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and determine repairs with service-team support.
• Perform repairs and component replacements on vehicle systems (transmissions, brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical).
• Conduct quality checks and road tests to ensure repairs meet standards.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, multi-point inspections.
• Participate in factory and in-house training to grow technical knowledge and certifications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Diagnostics & Repairs

Accurately diagnose vehicle concerns and determine the appropriate repairs with support from our experienced service team.

Repairs & Replacements

Perform repairs and component replacements on vehicle systems including:

• Transmissions
• Brakes
• Suspension
• Steering
• HVAC
• Electrical and mechanical systems
• Other vehicle systems according to manufacturer guidelines

Quality Checks & Road Tests

Perform thorough inspections and road tests to ensure all repairs meet Volkswagen, company, and customer standards.

Routine Maintenance

Complete preventative maintenance services, including:

• Oil changes
• Tire rotations
• Fluid services
• Multi-point inspections
• Other scheduled maintenance

Training & Development

Participate in factory and in-house training to continuously develop your technical knowledge, skills, and certifications.
