Job summary

Arxada seeks a Microbiologist – GLP in Alpharetta, GA. You will perform microbiology and virology tests, manage study planning, execution, and GLP documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role involves handling BSL2/BSL2+ cultures and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data. The ideal candidate has a BS in Microbiology with 0–4 years of industry experience, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or related field.
• 0–4 years of industry experience in microbiology or related labs.
• Experience in GLP, cGMP, or GCP frameworks preferred.
• Exposure to microbiology related to biocidal products across multiple sectors advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with BSL-2 pathogens desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiology and virology testing using established methods.
• Plan, execute, and document GLP studies with rigor.
• Cultivate and maintain bacterial, viral, and fungal cultures in BSL2/BSL2+ environments.
• Analyze data and prepare detailed reports; present findings as needed.
• Ensure GLP compliance, SOP adherence, and regulatory requirements across activities.
• Support lab operations through QA activities and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate testing schedules.
• Participate in weekend rotations for time-sensitive assays.
