Job summary

Disney is seeking a Web Designer to join our global layout offerings team in Frankfort. You will collaborate with designers, editors and tech groups to craft high‑quality layout and video content for Disney’s brands worldwide, delivering UX and visual design assets, HTML and CSS while upholding brand and product requirements.

The role includes 4 days in the Madrid office and 1 remote day, with a 6‑month FTC, full‑time.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating international layout design experience and proficiency with design systems.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and similar tools.
• Solid knowledge of web standards including HTML and CSS.
• Understanding of UI patterns and web requirements.
• Experience with design methodologies.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of German, Italian or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supply layout solutions aligned with enterprise goals, including input into workflows and meeting agreed timelines.
• Work closely with technical, editorial and product teams to ideate and deliver effective virtual merchandise.
• Communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, both internal and third‑party.
• Write and adapt HTML/CSS code to match group designs and product specs.
• Ensure integrity and quality of all layout materials produced.
• Lead the crew in continuously improving processes and elevating the brands we support.
• Critique design and editorial output, providing constructive feedback to enhance the content delivered.
• Research and share updates on layout and technical improvements with the team.
