Job summary

Baker Tilly, a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm, seeks a Senior Tax Associate to join our Private Wealth International practice in the United States. You will serve high-net-worth individuals, family offices and their private businesses, handling complex tax planning, compliance and international disclosures.

You will work with cross-functional teams and benefit from ongoing mentoring, learning programs, and opportunities to advance your career within a growing international practice.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree
• Eligible to obtain CPA, JD, or EA
• 3 years of professional experience
• Two plus years experience in tax return preparation and planning for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses
• Two plus years experience in international asset disclosure preparation for individuals with foreign accounts, businesses, trusts, and other foreign investments

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
• Analyze international holdings for disclosure and assist with foreign asset planning.
• Deliver proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including estate, gift and generation skipping tax.
• Keep up-to-date on trends and apply them to complex situations.
